Retail Sales - Donations

About the role

Our Donations Sorters/Pricers are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who make our work possible. They are team‑oriented, friendly and go out of their way to help donors. They are able to lift incoming donations (up to 50 lb.) and evaluate merchandise to price it appropriately. We seek individuals who make work a priority and who enjoy meeting high expectations in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
• Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment – taking pride in the efficiency of their area.
• Position may include cross‑training in the following areas: Cash Register, Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production‑style setting.
• Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lb., and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 lb.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.

Skills

• Team‑oriented and friendly with strong customer‑service attitude.
• Ability to evaluate merchandise and price it appropriately.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and meeting high expectations.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lb. as needed.

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10 am–8 pm, opening at 11 am on Sunday.
