Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using tools like text messaging and social media
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service tailored to individual preferences
• Provide honest, confident style and fit feedback to customers
• Develop fashion and product expertise through continuous learning
• Maintain department readiness through order fulfillment, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Grow customer relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Occasionally work in other departments as business needs require

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hour shifts including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
• Frequent hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Regular handling of bulky or awkwardly shaped merchandise, including overhead lifting
• Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $22.05. Commission structure varies by department: 3%–14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories; 3% for beauty and men’s fragrance.
