Retail Sales - Cashier
About the role
If you enjoy meeting and greeting people and have a warm and friendly personality, this opportunity may be for you. To succeed in this role, you must be a team player, positive, dependable, and respectful—even when dealing with challenging customers. Cashiers will handle customer transactions, maintain store appearance, and may cross-train in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. This position may also involve lifting and carrying items (occasionally up to 50 pounds, frequently 10 to 35 pounds) and inspecting, hanging, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production-style setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and provide customer service
- Maintain store appearance by rotating stock and tidying
- Cross-train in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations
- Lift and carry donations (occasionally up to 50 pounds, frequently 10 to 35 pounds)
- Hang, inspect, and tag textiles and clothing in a production-style setting
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Production or similar experience preferred
- Available to work evenings and weekends (stores open Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–8 PM; Sunday, 11 AM–8 PM)
