About the role
Seasonal merchandise associates, supervisors, and team leads are needed at various zoos and aquariums in New York City. The positions involve working in a retail environment, assisting visitors, and managing merchandise displays.
Responsibilities
- Assist visitors with merchandise purchases
- Manage merchandise displays and inventory
- Provide excellent customer service
- Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and/or move 20-50 pounds
- Comfortable being exposed to cold and hot weather conditions
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
