Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services, effectively communicating in both English and Spanish.
  • Manage customer accounts, including new activations, upgrades, and troubleshooting, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards, including planograms (POGs) and product merchandising, to create an appealing store environment.
  • Execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, fostering strong customer relationships and driving customer retentions.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
  • Adhere to loss prevention plans and procedures to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets.
  • Utilize data entry skills for accurate record-keeping of sales, customer information, and inventory.
  • Contribute to omnichannel initiatives, ensuring a consistent customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Support team development through collaborative efforts and sharing best practices.
  • Potentially assist with local advertising and social media marketing efforts to promote store offerings.
  • Participate in sales and operations planning meetings to optimize store performance.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a telecommunications or electronics setting.
  • Strong customer service and customer experience (CX) skills with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive customer retentions.
  • Familiarity with inventory management processes and loss prevention plans.
  • Experience with planograms (POGs) and product merchandising.
  • Basic data entry skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience with social media marketing or advertising is a plus.
