About the role
The CHEF’STORE Sales Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of customer service and adhering to US Foods' cultural beliefs. This position requires a combination of cashiering, stocking, and customer service duties.
Responsibilities
- Ensure impeccable customer service by interacting with customers and promoting US Foods' strategies.
- Utilize the CHEF’STORE Way training to provide efficient and accurate sales and cash functions in the POS system.
- Perform various tasks including scanning, weighing, and verifying products, as well as performing cart-to-cart transfers and checkout duties.
- Stock and rotate products in different departments, ensuring proper labeling and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Assist with special events and inventory processes, and assist in opening and closing the store.
- Participate in inventory and cycle count processes as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience.
- Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency using general office equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications
- Desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Adaptability and willingness to assist other employees.
- Motivated and self-driven with the ability to multi-task and work independently or within a team.
- Flexible to work Monday - Sunday between 5:00am and 7:00pm.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs, and occasional climbing and bending.

Pay
The starting rate is $20.50/hr.
Schedule
Monday - Sunday, between 5:00am and 7:00pm, with flexibility to work holidays and weekends.
