Retail Sales Associate ( Part-Time) – Faribault, MN

About the role

We are looking for a part-time retail sales associate for our Faribault, MN location. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people and providing unparalleled customer service. This is a permanent part-time position starting immediately, with hours ranging from 20-29 per week, Monday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in person at the retail store, providing recommendations and suggestions
• Advise customers on products and materials in the store
• Educate customers and clients on the history of the Mill and lead factory tours
• Handle all duties related to opening and closing the retail store
• Respond to customer service inquiries through phone, email, and website support
• Merchandise the product line at the store to create the most effective shopping experience
• Participate in the local community by developing relationships with the local chamber of commerce, businesses, and community groups

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Retail or sales experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, with both internal and external customers
• High attention to detail within the store and organizational skills
• Experience working with customer service-related issues
• Ability to be a self-starter, take initiative, and complete tasks in a timely manner
• General knowledge of internet applications and Microsoft suite
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay

$16 - $18 per hour, depending on experience.
