Retail Sales Associate (Part Time)

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its growing team. The role involves providing excellent customer service, leading the department, assisting and mentoring colleagues, promoting company programs, maintaining product knowledge, and selling to customers. The position also includes general store maintenance tasks and may require cross-training.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Lead the department and assist/mentor colleagues
• Promote company programs including warranty sales and Good Sam Memberships
• Maintain product knowledge and sell to customers
• Maintain the appearance of the store, including stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Superior customer service skills and excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
• Ability to work flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends
• May hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

Pay

The pay range for this role is $30,000 - $60,000 or more, depending on the factors mentioned. This is a commission-based role with uncapped commissions.

Schedule

Flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends.
