Retail Sales Associate Night

About the role

The CHEF’STORE Sales Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of customer service, aligning with US Foods' strategic goals and cultural beliefs. This position requires a strong commitment to service excellence and the ability to work in various departments, including front-end operations, sales floors, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Ensure impeccable customer service by interacting with customers and promoting US Foods' strategies and cultural values.
• Utilize POS systems efficiently, including scanning, weighing, and reporting discrepancies.
• Perform cart-to-cart transfers, inspecting products for tampering, and verifying purchases.
• Work in different departments, such as meat/frozen, produce/dairy, and dry goods/culinary equipment, replenishing stock and rotating products.
• Assist during special events like vendor fairs, sales floor resets, and inventory processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Minimum one year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency with office equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 100 lbs, and perform other physical tasks as required.

Pay

$21.622 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time nights, 30-40 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays.
