Retail Sales Associate/Keyholder

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Managing the physical aspects of the property, such as:
• Daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds.
• Opening and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Ensuring the facility is clean and safe to meet company guidelines.

Qualifications

• A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• The ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Frequent physical demands including standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, climbing, and balancing on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
