About the role

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers with a smile and making them feel welcome, offering assistance, being knowledgeable about products and pricing, using sales techniques to drive sales, handling cash and credit cards accurately, balancing cash drawers, producing reports, stocking merchandise, keeping the store clean and organized, and receiving and pricing new inventory.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and make them feel welcome
• Offer to assist them
• Be knowledgeable of our products and pricing
• Use sales techniques to drive sales to meet daily goals
• Handle cash, checks, and credit cards accurately
• Verify and balance cash drawer
• Accurately produce reports and other departmental documents as assigned
• Receive and price and stock merchandise using store procedures and standards
• Keep the store (floors, fixtures) and the merchandise clean and organized
