About the role
The CHEF’STORE Sales Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining an atmosphere of superior customer service, aligning with US Foods' core values: Deliver Excellence, Stop Waste, WIN Together, Speak Up, and You Matter. Responsibilities
- Ensure impeccable customer service by interacting with customers and promoting US Foods strategies.
- Utilize POS systems efficiently, including scanning merchandise and verifying product accuracy.
- Perform duties as a cart-to-cart transferer, ensuring accurate checkout processes.
- Assist in the front end, sales floor, and special events, including inventory processes and price changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, reporting safety issues and participating in inventory counts.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience.
- One year of retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Good common sense and logical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform other physical tasks as required.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management.

Pay
$16.49 per hour, with potential for overtime compensation.
Schedule
Full-time, 30-40 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements.
