Whether on the sales floor or in the fitting room, your warmth, product knowledge, and personal approach turn everyday visits into memorable moments. With every interaction, you build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire loyalty—making each visit both meaningful and successful.
You’ll also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting so every customer feels welcome the moment they walk in.
Responsibilities
- Begin each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, and current trends and promotions.
- Engage with customers through warm welcomes, eye contact, and friendly conversations to build relationships and drive repeat visits.
- Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have everything they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you.
- Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
- Strive for continuous improvement, take pride in your work, and achieve sales goals to deliver individual and store results.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues while meeting daily sales goals.
- Resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, and eager to embrace new challenges.
- Able to work independently but thrive in a team environment.
- Comfortable using electronic devices, including handheld equipment, cash registers, and processing transactions.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours and lifting at least 25 lbs.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Reaching, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology to perform job functions.
Schedule
Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules include weekend shifts as a requirement. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
