Retail Sales Associate

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
• Some positions may require forklift certifications

Essential Job Functions

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals
• Process customers at checkout using point of sale (POS) system
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines
• Create price tags and merchandise signs
• Stock, tag and display merchandise
• Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy

Physical/Sensory Requirements

• Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Pay Range

• $17.04 - $21.20
