Responsibilities

  • Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
  • Interact face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
  • Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
  • Rent self-storage units, sell store merchandise, manage the leasing process, accept payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), complete daily bank deposits, and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
  • Maintain the physical aspects of the property, including cleaning units and store grounds, opening and closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
  • Ensure the facility meets company guidelines by keeping it clean and safe (e.g., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, neat decluttered office space).

Qualifications

  • A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
  • Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
  • A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
  • Basic computer skills including MS office products.
  • The ability to work Saturdays.
  • Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
  • Frequent physical demands such as standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, climbing, and balancing on a ladder.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
