About the role

Cox Communications is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional customer experiences and drive sales. This role involves connecting with customers, managing store operations, and participating in various training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities
• Offer suggestions based on customer needs
• Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention
• Aid in store opening and closing
• Handle cash transactions
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos
• Support fellow sales associates
• Stay updated on current and competitor products through training

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to diverse customer bases
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Qualifications

• Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, or management
• One year of experience in related fields (Sales, Retail Sales, Service Industry, etc.)
• Experience selling Wireless/Mobile products
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.29 - $22.88/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Annual incentive/commission target is $15,348.00.

Schedule

This role requires working some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
