About the role
Cox Communications is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will connect with customers, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Explain and demonstrate product capabilities
- Offer suggestions based on customer needs
- Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention
- Aid in store operations, including opening and closing
- Handle cash transactions
- Participate in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations
- Support fellow sales associates
- Stay updated on current and competitor products through training
- Work in other locations in the same geographical area as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Up to 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and adapt to diverse customer bases
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds for stock room inventory
Benefits
- Variable targeted total compensation of $48,628 ($23.38/hr.)
- Full-time hourly base rate of $16.38/hr. plus monthly targeted commissions of $1,279

Compensation
- Hourly pay rate: $15.29 - $22.88/hour
- Annual incentive/commission target: $15,348.00
Additional Information
- Eligible for 16 hours of paid time off per month and 7 paid holidays annually
