About the role

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its growing team. The role involves providing excellent customer service, leading the department, assisting and mentoring colleagues, promoting company programs, maintaining product knowledge, and selling to customers. The position also includes maintaining store appearance, performing stock and cleaning duties, and cross-training to perform other tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service
Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
Leading department and assisting/mentoring colleagues
Consistently promotes company programs including warranty sales and Good Sam Memberships
Maintain the appearance of store which may include stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
May cross train to perform other duties
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

High school education or equivalent
Previous Retail experience preferred
Superior customer service skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
Ability to work flexible retail schedule including evening and weekends
May hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

Qualifications

For the role, high school education or equivalent is required. Previous retail experience is preferred, along with superior customer service skills and excellent communication abilities. Candidates must also maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic, and be able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends. They should be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices and have the ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend.

Skills

Strong customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to learn and sell products are essential. Candidates should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay
