Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its growing team. The role involves providing excellent customer service, leading the department, assisting and mentoring colleagues, promoting company programs, maintaining product knowledge, and selling to customers. The position also includes maintaining store appearance through stocking and general housekeeping duties, and performing other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Lead department and assist/mentor colleagues
• Promote company programs including warranty sales and Good Sam Memberships
• Maintain strong product knowledge and sell to customers
• Maintain store appearance which may include stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Superior customer service skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
• Work flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends
• May hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

Pay

The pay range for this role is $30,000 - $60,000 or more, depending on the factors mentioned. This is a commission-based role with uncapped commissions. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and more!

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
