Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its growing team. The role involves providing excellent customer service, leading the department, assisting and mentoring colleagues, promoting company programs, maintaining product knowledge, and selling to customers. The position also includes maintaining store appearance, stocking, and performing general housekeeping duties, and may involve cross-training to perform other duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Establish strong product knowledge and sell to customers
• Maintain the appearance of the store which may include stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
• May cross train to perform other duties
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous Retail experience preferred
• Superior customer service skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
• Ability to work flexible retail schedule including evening and weekends
• May hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

Qualifications

For the role, high school education or equivalent is required. Previous retail experience is preferred, along with superior customer service skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Candidates must also maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic, and have the ability to work flexible retail schedules including evenings and weekends. They should be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices and be able to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $30,000 - $60,000 or more, depending on the factors mentioned. This is a commission-based role with uncapped commissions.

The schedule for this role is flexible and may include evenings and weekends.
