Responsibilities
- Create a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere for customers and donors.
- Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Answer and respond to telephone customers in a professional manner.
- Support donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offer tax receipts to every donor.
- Keep the inside and outside of the donation center organized and clean.
- Aid in stocking the sales floor, rotating stock, setting up displays, and organizing merchandise.
- Participate in fundraising efforts for AbleLight charity through "round ups" at the register and other events.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Capable of standing on feet for up to eight hours.
