Retail Sales Associate - 2833

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide.

Pay

$15.00 to $18.00 per hour plus commission. Employees can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.00 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items following company policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training.
• Assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution.
• Work with a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
