Retail Sales Associate-2

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its growing team. The role involves providing excellent customer service, leading the department, assisting and mentoring colleagues, promoting company programs, maintaining product knowledge, and selling to customers. The position also includes maintaining the store’s appearance, stocking, and performing general housekeeping duties, and may involve cross-training to perform other duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Lead department and assist/mentor colleagues
• Promote company programs including warranty sales and Good Sam Memberships
• Maintain strong product knowledge and sell to customers
• Maintain the appearance of the store, which may include stocking and performing general housekeeping duties
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Superior customer service skills and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic
• Ability to work flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends
• May hold up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have high school education or equivalent, previous retail experience, superior customer service skills, and excellent communication skills. They must also maintain a professional demeanor and work ethic, and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Additionally, they should be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the total annual compensation range (base pay + variable compensation earned) is $30,000 - $60,000 or more. This is a commission-based role with uncapped commissions.
