Retail Sales Assistant, Jewelry

About the role

The Jewelry Stylist at Brilliant Earth provides an exceptional experience for every customer. They assist customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line, guiding them through multiple purchasing decisions and creating memorable, personalized experiences.

Responsibilities

• Utilize sales strategies and problem-solving techniques to assist and guide customers through purchasing decisions.
• Proactively greet, check-in, and assist customers in the purchasing process, ensuring a memorable, one-on-one experience.
• Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads to achieve individual and team goals and revenue targets.
• Respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chats and phone calls, maintaining a luxury customer experience.
• Develop and demonstrate product knowledge related to diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.
• Conduct post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups, exchanges, and re-sizing.
• Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer any pre-appointment questions.
• Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and sales performance.
• Use the ERP system to manage tasks and communicate cross-functionally.
• Showroom coordination and maintenance, including maintaining luxury showroom appearance, cleanliness, and organization.
• Enforce policies within the waiting room to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests, and ensure product security.
• Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be able to work a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. This role is in-person at our new San Jose showroom location. The targeted budget for this position is $22-24 per hour. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
