A Day In The Life As a Retail Sales and Store Support team member, your day is focused on keeping the store clean, organized, and easy to shop. You help customers locate what they need, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming environment across different areas of the store. Whether restocking shelves, assisting with selections, or answering questions, your role helps customers move through their shopping experience with ease. Another part of the role is keeping products available and displays in good condition throughout the day. You’ll stock shelves, rotate products, update pricing or signage, and maintain backroom organization. Between handling inventory, working across different departments, and maintaining store standards, the day stays active, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys variety and staying engaged in a fast‑paced environment. What You Bring To The Table Customer Interaction Skills: Clear, helpful communication when assisting customers and answering questionsStocking & Merchandising: Experience placing products on shelves, facing items, and maintaining display standardsProduct Knowledge: Familiarity with store layout, pricing, and general merchandise across departmentsAttention to Detail: Accuracy in pricing, labeling, product rotation, and removing outdated itemsOrganization & Time Management: Managing multiple tasks while maintaining clean, organized work areasInventory Awareness: Monitoring product levels and assisting with restocking and ordering processesEquipment Use: Handling tools such as pallet jacks, box cutters, or handheld devices following safety guidelinesAdaptability: Comfort moving between tasks, departments, and priorities throughout the shiftPhysical Capability: Comfort with standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs., and working in varying environments including backroom and outdoor areas Requirements Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age or older, depending on role requirements) Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferredAbility to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelinesBasic math and communication skills requiredAbility to read, write, and follow instructions in EnglishAvailability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysCompliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards Why You Will Choose Us Albertsons Companies Inc. has always been a people-oriented business, and thoughtful people practices remain a core element of our company’s philosophy.
