RETAIL SALES AND MERCHANDISING ASSOCIATE

Major Responsibilities

Aid customers with a variety of computer and electronics purchases in our high-volume big box retail store.

Maintain product knowledge and participate in ongoing sales, vendor, and product training.

Ensure a clean work area and perform merchandising tasks such as processing freight and completing markdowns.

Participate in open and close procedures and support store operations by maintaining loss prevention awareness.

Education & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent with one year of related experience in a customer service or similar role, strongly preferred.

A passion for technology, including computers and electronics, and commissioned sales experience is a definite plus (your knowledge and skill level will be matched to the department where you can best serve our customers).

A sincere interest in helping customers select products that meet their needs.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Shifts include hours before and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities.

Pay

The pay range is $17.00-30.00+/hour (base + commission).
