Job Summary

United Legwear is seeking a Sales Advisor to join the Ted Baker Bloomingdale's Valley Fair team. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining high brand standards.

Essential Functions

  • High level of team participation, integrity, and respect for others.
  • Drive and document personal learning to contribute to team and location success.
  • Adeptly adapt and flexibly meet business needs for the team and location.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and maintain productive relationships with store partners.
  • Use all available training, tools, and information to stay updated on product knowledge and increase customer loyalty.
  • Follow merchandising guidelines, replenishment procedures, and housekeeping standards to ensure Ted Baker is represented at the highest level.
  • Support management with visual merchandising directives.
  • Demonstrate all Ted’s trainings and standards, delivering GOTFAT with enthusiasm and consistency.
  • Build loyal customer relationships through knowledge of local and customer profiles and effective sales techniques.
  • Seek knowledge, exceed KPIs, and support brand promotions and initiatives.
  • Drive B-connected performance by promoting database building and clienteling.
  • Show strong commercial awareness of competitors and local markets.
  • Proactively complete tasks correctly and efficiently, adhering to Company policies and procedures.
  • Work unsupervised, adhere to health and safety procedures, use equipment properly, and report unsafe conditions.
  • Accountable for accurate cash handling and banking procedures, resolving discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in fashion.
  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for providing a high-quality shopping experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and professional customer inquiry handling.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Enthusiasm for fashion and a keen interest in the Ted Baker brand.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in fashion or retail management is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Regular walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands for tasks involving handling, feeling, pushing, and reaching for company products.
  • Regular typing and manipulation of electronic systems.
  • Engage in regular communication with customers, staff, and third parties, including speaking and listening actively throughout the workday with others in a professional manner.
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as necessary.
  • The ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities for close and distance viewing related to electronic systems and/or physical products.
  • Dynamic changes in pace and activity level, necessitating flexibility and promptness to perform tasks in various physical positions.
