Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital channels using tools such as text messaging and social media
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service tailored to individual preferences
• Provide honest, confident style and fit advice to customers
• Develop fashion and product expertise to enhance customer interactions
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a customer-ready department: fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise displays, process price markdowns, and perform light cleaning
• Grow customer relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above head level
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds

Pay

Hourly base pay: $17.30. Commission varies by department: 3%–14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories; 3% for beauty and men’s fragrance. Performance-based incentives or bonuses may also apply.
