Retail Receiving & Stock Associate - PT

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the timely delivery of goods throughout the store, moving merchandise to the selling floor and/or stockroom.
• Load and unload trucks; transport merchandise manually or using forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, or carts.
• Assist customers with pick-ups at the guard booth or within selling departments.
• Maintain a neat and orderly receiving dock area, both indoors and outside the building.
• Remove hangers and empty boxes from departments.
• Deliver supplies to the sales floor to support sales efforts.
• Assist with the set-up of special sales and events.
• Establish professional, personalized rapport with customers to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• Previous retail stocking experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification is helpful.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and telephone-based, with coworkers, management, and customers.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, freight elevator, compactor, skid jack, and baler.
• Must work well with the public and provide excellent customer service.
• Availability to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the work schedule.
