Retail Receiving & Stock Associate - FT

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the timely delivery of goods throughout the store, moving merchandise to the selling floor or stockroom.
• Load and unload trucks, transporting merchandise manually or using forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, or carts.
• Assist customers with pickups at the guard booth or within selling departments.
• Maintain a neat and orderly receiving dock area, both indoors and outside the building.
• Remove hangers and empty boxes from departments.
• Deliver supplies to the sales floor to support sales efforts.
• Assist with the setup of special sales and events.
• Establish professional and personalized rapport with customers to enhance their experience.

Requirements

• Previous retail stocking experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification is helpful.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and by telephone, with coworkers, management, and customers.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, freight elevator, compactor, skid jack, and baler.
• Must work well with the public (customers).
• Availability to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the schedule.
