Retail Receiving Associate

About the role

The Retail Receiving Associate position is available at Wayfair's returns Outlet retail store in Augusta, GA. The base pay for this position is $16 per hour. Store hours are Monday - Saturday: 10am - 8pm and Sunday: 11am - 7pm. This role offers growth opportunities, a company discount, a 401(k) with company match, and referral bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and create a best-in-class customer experience by connecting customers with Wayfair's extensive home assortment.
• Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies, presentations, signing, and assortment in all departments to ensure adequate stock.
• Support customer fulfillment across all channels, including order pick-up, incoming inventory, and assisting with furniture delivery to customer vehicles.
• Maintain visual standards, replenish stock, ensure safety and backroom standards, and participate in all operational aspects of the store.
• Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members.
• Engage in a high-energy, focused, and dynamic work environment with rapid changes in products, promotions, and operations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of stock receiving experience, with retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• A positive attitude and passion for great customer service.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and active listening skills.
• Positive, professional attitude and enthusiasm for supporting customers.
• Technical acumen to learn necessary software (Google and Microsoft Office) to manage inventory and price items.
• Ability to process information and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $16 per hour. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair’s total compensation package for employees. Depending on the position offered, shift premiums, bonuses, commissions, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.

Schedule

Employee shifts may include two hours before or after store hours. Shifts are subject to change and must be flexible to accommodate store needs. Employee shifts will be provided a minimum of 2 weeks in advance, and employees have the opportunity to trade shifts with teammates as needed.
