Retail Project Manager [AQ-10536]

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic individual to support large-scale retail initiatives within a fast-growing, global consumer brand. This pivotal role will drive cross-functional projects from strategy through execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and on-time delivery across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex retail and marketplace initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration, coordinating efforts across merchandising, marketing, retail, planning, operations, and product teams.
• Facilitate critical meetings, meticulously track decisions, and ensure robust follow-through on all key actions.
• Develop and meticulously manage detailed project plans, comprehensive timelines, and integrated workback schedules.
• Define clear milestones, identify critical dependencies, and proactively manage critical paths to maintain project momentum.
• Drive operational rigor across multiple concurrent projects, tracking progress, assigning clear ownership, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Proactively identify and escalate potential risks, presenting clear mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to keep projects on track.
• Deliver clear, concise, and executive-ready status updates and reporting to diverse stakeholders.
• Cultivate and maintain strong alignment across all cross-functional partners and leadership, ensuring transparency and shared understanding.
• Provide comprehensive visibility into project health, timelines, and key dependencies, empowering informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in project or program management, specifically within retail, consumer products, or apparel sectors.
• A proven track record of successfully leading complex cross-functional initiatives from initial planning through flawless execution.
• Extensive expertise in building, managing, and optimizing detailed project plans and integrated workback schedules.
• Exceptional ability to skillfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Superior communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and aligning diverse teams.
• Proficiency with industry-standard project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, Jira, or similar platforms).
