About the Opportunity
The Retail Production Assistant supports top-producing Retail Mortgage Loan Originators by managing and streamlining the loan origination process. This role serves as the critical link between borrowers, realtors, and internal teams to ensure efficient loan processing and successful closings. The position is essential for maintaining high service standards and operational flow in a fast-paced lending environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for client retention and new growth.
- Analyze credit reports and income/assets to assist in loan structuring.
- Manage loan pipeline, including document submission and underwriting condition clearance.
- Serve as the primary contact for borrowers and realtors, providing updates.
- Collect initial application information and manage appointment scheduling and calendars.
- Track document requests and review files promptly to identify issues.
- Collaborate with loan originators and underwriters to resolve file problems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional office experience; at least 1 year in mortgage or banking.
- Ability to manage client relationships and execute marketing initiatives.
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines.
- Experience with Encompass LOS or similar software and proficiency in Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
