Retail Print Specialist

About the role

Print Specialists provide exceptional customer service and solutions to customers' print needs. You will produce professionally finished products using print and production equipment while collaborating with customers in a fun, team‑oriented retail culture. Hiring is immediate, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the Print Solutions department and respond quickly and attentively.
• Ask open‑ended questions to build relationships and understand customers' copy and print needs.
• Use order intake tools to capture project information and offer an appropriate total print solution.
• Assist customers with tasks in the self‑service area, utilizing copy machines and PC rentals.
• Ask qualifying questions during consultations to generate potential leads.
• Produce professionally finished products using print and production equipment.
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (e.g., assist customers with shipping, etc.).

Essential Skills and Experience

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needs.
• Capability to work with many customers to provide a total solution.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality issues.
• Basic computer skills: opening, saving, and sending electronic files; proficiency with Microsoft Word or similar programs.
• Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a high‑paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Skill in managing conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
• Honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Physical ability to lift and move supplies in the 10–50 pound range, and to stand and walk continuously.
