Retail Print Manager
The Print Manager will drive print sales and service growth, oversee print production, manage equipment and supplies, and ensure high-quality print materials. As a "Key Carrier," the Print Manager is responsible for opening and closing the store and must work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Periodic comprehensive background checks may be required.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction in the Print Department.
- Ensure execution of Office Depot selling techniques and sales training in print and across the store.
- Drive a sales-focused environment through training and development of all associates, including print.
- Act as a role model for exceptional customer service and product expertise.
- Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to associates on print processes and selling techniques.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and holistic service offerings for clients/customers.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Exercise independent judgment in assessing store associates' performance, certification(s), and competencies.
- Operate all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure timely order completion.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies, including monitoring print supplies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Maintain the safety and security of the print department, building, and associates during the absence of other managers.
- Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including alarm system activation/deactivation, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
- Ensure regular loss prevention compliance in partnership with all associates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience or equivalent internal development.
- Experience in Print Center operations.
- Experience with logistics, freight, and visual merchandising.
Skills
- Strong PC skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Subject matter expert in Print Services and related systems.
- Proficient with role-related technology and POS systems.
- Advanced selling skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).

Pay
The salary range for this role is $18.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour, with adjustments to comply with all state and local minimum wage laws.
