Retail Print Manager
As a Retail Print Manager at Office Depot, you will drive print sales and service growth within a high-volume store. Your expertise will help create a vibrant sales culture, enhance visual and merchandising standards for print products, and prioritize client satisfaction. You will oversee the print production process, manage equipment and supplies, and ensure high-quality print materials. This role also involves leading a customer-centric environment, engaging with the local community, and fostering a positive culture aligned with Office Depot’s 5C values: Caring, Committed, Creative, Collaborative, and Courageous.
As a "Key Carrier," you will be considered a leader on duty, responsible for opening and closing the store. A flexible schedule is required, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Periodic comprehensive background checks may be conducted.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Service Excellence:
- Ensure delivery of memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction in the Print Department.
- Execute Office Depot selling techniques and sales training in print and across the store.
- Drive a sales-focused environment through training and development of all associates, including print.
- Act as a role model for exceptional customer service and product expertise.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to associates on print processes and selling techniques.
- Facilitate training sessions on the business model and holistic service offerings.
- Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
- Exercise independent judgment in assessing store associates’ performance, certifications, and competencies.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Operate all equipment in the Print Services area to ensure efficient production and timely order completion.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies, including managing print supplies.
- Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- External Key Carrier Responsibilities:
- Maintain safety and security of the print department, building, and associates during the absence of other managers.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including alarm system activation/deactivation, cash handling, and daily store balancing.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention policies in partnership with all associates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–3 years of related experience.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience or equivalent internal development.
- Experience in Print Center operations, logistics, freight, and visual merchandising.
Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Strong PC skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Subject matter expert in Print Services and related systems.
- Proficient with role-related technology and POS systems.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $15.16/hour to $27.92/hour, with compliance to all state and local minimum wage laws.
