Event Coordination
- Coordinate and facilitate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes.
- Create and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards.
- Communicate with clients and store team members regarding events.
- Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs.
- Create and execute backup or emergency plans as needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
Customer Service
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience.
- Educate customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork.
Operational Tasks
- Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards.
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Handle job stress and interact effectively with others, including guests of all ages and co-workers.
- Experience working with children and children’s events.
- Excellent people skills.
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication as well as listening skills.
- Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Retail and/or customer service experience required.
