About the Role

The Retail Parts Pro is a professional-level sales position that supports advanced functions of the DIY business. This role requires expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge, and part knowledge. The position is full time and involves providing exceptional customer service, managing DIY services, and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, and open/close duties
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock)
• Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
• Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)

Requirements

• Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability (internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronics, exhaust)
• Ability to speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs)
• Successfully complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability and customer transaction fulfillment experience
• ASE Certification preferred but not required
