Maintain Store Standards

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store which includes maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.

Customer Service

Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for.

Cleaning Duties

  • Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
  • Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Deep cleans key areas of the store including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.

Other Responsibilities

  • Keeps cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notifies supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
  • Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
  • Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
  • Maintains positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization’s vision and values.
  • Serves as a role model for other Team Members.

Essential Functions

  • Remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Bend, lift, carry, reach and stretch.
  • Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Work in a frame shop containing glass cutter and heat press.
  • Work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
  • Unload trucks and retrieve shopping carts.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach and stretch.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Ability to work in a frame shop containing glass cutter and heat press.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
  • Ability to unload trucks and retrieve shopping carts.
  • Ability to support shrink and safety programs.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Other Duties As Assigned

  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Affiliate with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
