Retail Part-Time Store Associate, Fabletics (Montgomery Mall - Bethesda, MD)

About the role

Collaborate with an energetic Store Manager, supportive leaders, and a dynamic team to help customers live their passion. This position reports to the Store Manager and involves engaging with customers, driving sales, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Embody Fabletics’ culture and values while providing insight to customers on how to live their passion.
• Engage customers in meaningful ways by sharing knowledge about fabrics, features, fit, and function of products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to ensure an easy and valuable shopping journey.
• Provide and act on feedback to continuously improve store operations and performance.
• Meet and exceed store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Maintain personal sales goals and contribute to overall store success.
• Uphold all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Unpack inventory boxes (weighing 10-30 lbs) as required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of or familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, or nutrition.
• Ability to socially engage with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
• Experience working in large teams with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Physical ability to constantly move, talk, hear, reach, and stand for at least two consecutive hours; may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing ladders.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
