About the role

The ideal Store Associate should be passionate about sales, delivering exceptional service, and driving operational excellence. The primary responsibilities include supporting a positive customer-centric experience, maintaining store and print department appearance, adhering to sorting and stocking guidelines, scanning and investigating inventory lows, and developing personal selling skills and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
  • Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services.
  • Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
  • Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
  • Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes.
  • Sets up and organizes the freight sorting area in accordance with guidelines.
  • Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily.
  • Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided, including successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company’s loss prevention efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates.
  • Must be able to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools and process inventory.
  • Client focused, positive and engaging, action oriented, demonstrates a passion for the brand, products, services, and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Experience: No previous experience required.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to read, count, and write.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

The salary range for this role is $10 to $13, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
