Retail Part Time Store Associate
About the role
The ideal Store Associate should be passionate about sales, delivering exceptional service, and driving operational excellence. The primary responsibilities include supporting a positive customer-centric experience, maintaining a neat and clean store environment, adhering to sorting and stocking guidelines, scanning and investigating inventory lows, and working to continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
- Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services.
- Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
- Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
- Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
- Follows the established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes.
- Safeguards the freight sorting area in accordance with guidelines.
- Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily.
- Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided, including successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company’s loss prevention efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- No previous experience required.
- Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates.
- Must be able to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools and process inventory.
- Client focused, positive and engaging, action oriented, demonstrates a passion for the brand, products, services, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Experience: No previous experience required.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, interpersonal and communication skills, reading, counting, writing, and product knowledge.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 8.89 to 13.78, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
