Retail Part Time Store Associate

About the role
As a Part Time Retail Store Associate, you’ll engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales. You’ll actively connect with customers, addressing their needs by recommending the right products, services, and solutions. Through enthusiasm and expertise, you’ll help nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhance visual and merchandising standards, manage freight and logistics, and prioritize unparalleled client satisfaction. This entry-level role includes training in technology and print products/services to ensure you’re equipped to assist customers effectively.
Responsibilities
- Support a positive, customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
- Utilize the selling program to promote the best solutions and additional products/services.
- Maintain awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, sales, and loyalty programs.
- Consistently maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines, ensuring a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
- Adhere to all standards related to signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation.
- Follow established sorting and stocking guidelines; complete freight processes and ensure the freight sorting area is organized.
- Scan, investigate, and fill inventory lows and outs daily.
- Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through provided sales and service tools, including completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (no prior experience required).
- Basic computer skills; ability to use technology to access and input job-related information.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients and associates.
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation and process inventory.
- Client-focused, positive, engaging, and action-oriented, with a passion for the brand, products, services, and solutions.
- Consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $17.00/hour to $19.66/hour. All state and local minimum wages will be complied with, which may adjust the salary range.
