About the role

The Sr. Store Associate - Part Time role is essential in driving store success through inspiring sales brilliance and exceptional service in key areas such as Print and Technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, delivering exceptional service, and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
  • Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services.
  • Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
  • Adheres to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation.
  • Fulfills inventory lows and outs daily.
  • Works to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided which includes successful completion and comprehension of an advanced level of Print and Technology training, as well as any other applicable training.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and supports the company’s loss prevention efforts.

Requirements

No previous experience required; retail sales experience preferred. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory. Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers. Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Continued education in Print and Technology areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
  • Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions.
  • Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation, use training tools, and process inventory.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to build selling relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment.

Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule

The salary range for this role is 12.50 to 17.76, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
