Retail Part Time Sr. Store Associate
As a Sr. Store Associate - Part Time, you will actively connect with customers, addressing their needs by recommending the right products, services, and solutions to enhance their experience. Through enthusiasm and expertise, you will help create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhancing visual and merchandising standards, freight, and logistics activities while prioritizing unparalleled client satisfaction. You will support a customer-centric environment and engage with the local community, contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values: Caring, Committed, Creative, Collaborative, & Courageous.
You will complete advanced-level training in print and technology products/services to assist customers effectively and apply cutting-edge sales principles to drive business growth. The role is essential in inspiring sales brilliance and exceptional service, particularly in Print and Technology.
Responsibilities
- Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
- Utilizes the selling program to promote the best solutions and additional products/services.
- Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, sales, and loyalty programs.
- Consistently maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines, ensuring a neat, clean, and well-stocked environment.
- Adheres to all standards related to signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation.
- Follows established sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes.
- Ensures the freight sorting area is organized according to guidelines.
- Scans, investigates, and fills inventory lows and outs daily.
- Develops personal selling skills and product knowledge through provided tools, including advanced Print and Technology training.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no previous experience required (retail sales experience preferred).
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Able to use technology and POS systems to access information and process transactions.
- Able to read, write, and count accurately to complete documentation and process inventory.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Enjoys interacting with people and working in a customer-facing environment.
- Consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party may be required.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $14 to $15 per hour, with adjustments made to comply with all state and local minimum wage laws.
