Retail Part-Time Sales Lead - Fabletics (Tanger Outlets Phoenix - Glendale, AZ)
About the role
The Part-Time Sales Lead position at Fabletics' NEW location at Tanger Outlets Phoenix in Glendale, AZ, is seeking a self-starter with high energy who loves engaging with new people. This role reports to the Store Manager and involves actively engaging customers, providing product knowledge, and driving customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Embody Fabletics’ culture and values, providing insight to customers on how to Live their passion.
- Engage customers in new and meaningful ways by providing knowledge on the fabrics, features, fit, and function of Fabletics products.
- Drive customer engagement inside and outside the store, including store events, promotions, and community projects.
- Provide training and immediate feedback around Fabletics’ Customer Experience Playbook and other performance expectations.
- Work in coordination with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet/exceed individual and team performance goals.
- Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain store merchandising guidelines that make the store easy to shop and add value to the customer’s purchase journey.
- Participate in providing and nourishing feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
- Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and team members.
- Maintain personal sales goals and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain all safety and security standards, as well as identify and communicate potential issues.
- Unpack boxes for inventory as required, weighing up to 30 lbs.
Requirements
- 1-year minimum of work experience within a retail environment.
- Prior retail management experience, a plus.
- Knowledge and familiarity of active lifestyle choices such as Yoga, Cycling/Spin, Pilates, Weight Training, Running, Nutrition, and other healthy activities.
- Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners inside and outside the store environment.
- Ability to work with large teams.
- Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when an opportunity presents itself.
- Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
- Self-motivated, a good communicator with an innate ability to bring the best out in others.
- The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility in work hours, open to work evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
