Retail Part-Time Sales Lead, Fabletics (Fashion Island - Newport Beach, CA)

Fabletics is opening a new location at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA and is seeking a Part-Time Sales Lead.

About the role

As the Sales Lead, you will provide a best-in-class retail store customer experience and support Sales & Operations. You will enable customers to shop seamlessly between our website and retail stores using cutting-edge technology. Working alongside the Store Manager, store supervisors, and a team of associates, you'll help customers live their passion. This role reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Embody our culture and values while providing insight to customers on how to live their passion.
• Actively engage customers by providing knowledge on fabrics, features, fit, and function of our products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Train and provide immediate feedback on our Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat).
• Work with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to make the store easy to shop and add value to the customer’s purchase journey.
• Provide and nourish feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
• Strive for excellence in meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
• Maintain all safety and security standards, and identify and communicate potential issues.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes can weigh 10-30 lbs).

Requirements

• 1-year minimum of work experience within a retail environment; prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
• Ability to work with large teams.
• Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and P.O.S. systems.
• Self-motivated, a good communicator with an innate ability to bring out the best in others.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
