Retail Part Time Framer

About the role

Build customer relationships while creating a memorable framing solution for their art. Help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for. Provide a safe, clean, and clutter‑free environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Embrace and execute personal designer principles using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships and create custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready‑made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service; help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Ensure the store is well‑merchandised and in‑stock for customers.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, and serve as a role model for the organization’s vision and values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes, ensuring truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
• Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate product, and provide solutions.
• Assist with omni‑channel processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience, including experience selling products and/or services to customers (preferred).

Physical Requirements

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames; accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request.

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting; all public areas are climate‑controlled.
• Some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled.
• Occasional outdoor work (e.g., retrieving shopping carts, unloading trucks).
• Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
