Retail Outlet Associate

About the Role

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Retail Outlet Associate to join our team. This part-time position is responsible for providing world-class customer service, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring product merchandising standards are met. The role also involves cash and key controls, inventory management, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register, handle cash, and prepare status reports using cash registers and/or computer systems.
• Maintain inventory/stock levels on the sales floor and restock shelves.
• Ensure product merchandising standards, pricing, signage, and coding on the sales floor.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area, including parking lots, carts, and trash areas, to ensure the store exceeds all cleanliness standards.

Requirements

• 18 years or older.
• 1 year of retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods, climb, perform repetitive motions, and work in a loud and hot environment.
• Effective communication in English.

Pay

Great starting pay: $17.50 per hour.

Schedule

Shift varies, with weekend availability required.
