Regular, full-time position. Fluency in English required. 1st shift.
Responsibilities
- Execute effective mortgage marketing and development plans to meet or exceed agreed-upon mortgage production goals.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Mortgage Strategies, Policies and Procedures, and secondary market investor guidelines utilized by Truist.
- Adhere to all Truist policies and procedures, including compliance with State and Federal laws.
- Provide mortgage clients with sound advice based on a full understanding of client needs and Truist Mortgage products.
- Consistently execute Truist’s referral process by introducing mortgage clients to other bank solutions to deepen client relationships.
- Assist Mortgage Loan Fulfillment with document follow-up for clients, attorneys, or appraisers as needed through quality control or post-closing review.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a banking and/or lending environment with basic knowledge of residential property types.
- Good organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent financial sales experience.
- Two or more years of experience in residential mortgage lending with solid knowledge of the local market and regulations.
- Previous sales awards and leadership positions.
Working Conditions
- Sitting, standing, and walking frequently (25% - 50% of the time).
- Lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Able to access and interpret client information on a computer and communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
- Able to operate standard office equipment, including PC keyboard, mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.
- Must be available to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as required.
- Travel up to 75%.
